The room
A look around
Eighteen pictures of a small room that smells permanently of oak smoke — the tables before anyone sits at them, the plates that come off the fire, and the half hour behind the pass that nobody is supposed to see.
Pick a corner to look at
Everything here was taken on an ordinary week: no stylists, no borrowed props, and only one plate rebuilt because Maren said the sauce had gone sulky. Tap any picture to see it larger.
Private hire
The Loft: eighteen seated, thirty standing
Above the dining room, under the original coach-house rafters, there is a second room with its own bar, its own playlist and a window that looks straight down Marlowe Street. It seats eighteen at one long oak table, or holds thirty standing if nobody minds leaning.
The Loft is up one flight of stairs and there is no lift — we would rather tell you now than at the door. If anyone in your party needs step-free access, we will happily hold the whole ground floor room instead and it works just as well.
Capacity
18 seated at one table, 30 standing with canapés. Below twelve we usually suggest the corner of the main room instead — the Loft echoes when it is half empty.
What's included
Exclusive use of the room and its bar, a dedicated server, candles and linen, printed menus with your names on them, a bluetooth connection for your own music, and Aoife to walk the table through the wine if you want her to.
Price guide
From €65 per person for a seated dinner of four courses, or €72 if you would like "At the Hearth" in full. Standing receptions from €38 per person. On Fridays and Saturdays there is a minimum spend of €1,200, food and drink combined. No room fee, ever.

Reservations
Better in person, obviously
No photograph has ever caught what the room smells like at half seven on a Friday. Tables are released thirty days ahead; the Loft is arranged by email.
