The basics

What the tool is called and what it does. Write the tagline the way you would say it to another engineer, not the way you would put it on a billboard.

Exactly as you write it yourself. Up to 40 characters.

The page a developer should land on, including https://.

One sentence, 20–90 characters. “Git-push deploys for Go, Rust and Node with no YAML to write” is the right shape.

A paragraph or two. What problem it solves, who it is for, and what it deliberately does not do. Our editor will rewrite this after testing, so plain and honest beats polished.
